Join Bike Ventura and CIBike for an “Easy Ride”. These rides are free and open to the public.
The Easy Rides are on the 2nd & 4th Saturdays of every month. You can find the details for any ride by clicking the CIBike Ride calendar. This will take you to the Channel Islands Bicycle Club website. There you can look at GPS route maps and ride descriptions.
Rides start at the Museum of Ventura County parking lot (100 East Main St.) and are generally 15 to 25 miles in length at speeds of 10 to 12 mph. Our Easy Ride "Plus" option is longer and slightly faster.
We will stop for coffee and snacks.
These rides are perfect for boosting your cycling confidence and skills. Additionally, you will meet other cyclists and experience the fun of group riding.
There is free parking at the ride start.
Please arrive by 8:45 am for a pre-ride briefing, which includes introductions and a safety check. The ride starts at 9:00 am. For any questions, email Bill Faulkner at bbetterfaulkner@gmail.com.
Advance registration and signing the Liability waivers is required to participate. A ride may be cancelled due to weather. The Ride Leader will e-mail or text registered participants of any schedule changes. You only need to register once. After that, you are in the system and will get notifications.
